We talk Gotische Kathedralen in England and Gründerzeit buildings in Berlin

and the English trauma ( having lost a global empire and being now

anxious to not loose the one thing left to the English: language, too,

they, who once globalised it, are now scared to have to share it

with  Salman Rushdie and other brilliant writers from India and Nigeria,

because their tongue has become common wealth.
